Feature Overview

Previously, Incentivio offers were exclusive to members of a brand's loyalty program, which limited access for a significant portion of guests. This new feature enables brands to extend their marketing reach and allows non-loyalty members to benefit from promo code-based offers seamlessly through Incentivio apps and web ordering. By removing the barrier of account creation, brands can attract more customers and enhance the overall guest experience. The same promo code can be used by both loyalty members and non-loyalty members, also allowing brands to reduce duplicate efforts of creating separate campaigns for each.

Need to Knows

  • The Incentivio team must enable this feature before brands can begin creating guest checkout offers. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or our Technical Support team (support@incentivio.com) to request that this feature be enabled.
  • This feature also requires an app update before guests can begin redeeming guest checkout offers in-app.
  • Brands must have guest checkout enabled.
  • The offer must be created as an "Always Available Offer."
  • The offer must always use a promo code for redemption (meaning the Targeting Rule must be set to Promo Code).

Creating an Offer for Guest Checkout

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Promo Codes.
  2. Select + New Promo Code, and create a new promo code to assign to this offer.
  3. Navigate to Marketing > Offers, and select + New Offer.
  4. Select your Program and Campaign, and enter your internal Offer Title.
  5. Select the checkbox next to Offer is Always Available. This will enable another checkbox - Usable at Guest Checkout - which should also be enabled.
  6. Select + Add Reward, and set up your discount amount and target.
  7. Add your display content.
  8. Note: Distribution Mode, Activity Name, Channels, Redistribution Mode, and Distribution Blackout are all disabled for this type of offer and cannot be edited.
  9. Set the distribution start and end dates.
  10. Disable Reach by unchecking the box next to Enable Reach, as this may prevent guests who are not signed in from redeeming this offer.

  11. Under Targeting Rules, select Promo Code, then select the Promo Code previously created in Step 2 from the list of codes.
Please note: This should not be combined with any other Targeting Rules. Only the Promo Code rule applies to this offer type.
  12. Set the Redemption Rule. The following Redemption Rules are compatible with this type of offer:
    > Everyone
    > Basket Subtotal
    > Order Type (Pickup or Delivery)
    > Day of Week
    > Time of Day
Any other redemption rules should not be used, as they will prevent this offer from being redeemed.
  13. For the Redemption End Date Type, select either Static or Never Expire, and set the Redemption Start and End Dates.
