Item badges can help guests identify dietary restrictions, limited-time items, or other special features about items on both the app and the web. These will display as a small icon under the item image on the item detail screen, as seen here:
Adding Badges to Items
- Log into the Pritunl VPN and open Cyberduck.
- Navigate to the client's Cyberduck folder. Drag all files into the client's Cyberduck folder to upload the desired badge images.
- Copy the HTTPS link for each image and save them for later use.
- Log into the Incentivio admin portal and navigate to Products > Item.
- Select the Columns filter, and check the box next to Extended Attributes to add a new column.
- Search for the item(s) that you'd like to add a badge to.
- Under Extended Attributes, add the following values to the item settings. It is possible to add multiple item badges; just update the number on ViewItemIcon1 as needed:
Key Value ViewItemIcon1 (Amazon HTTPS image link) ViewItemIcon2 (Amazon HTTPS image link, if applicable) ViewItemIcon3 (Amazon HTTPS image link, if applicable) - Click Save.
This should automatically update the item details on web and mobile. An app update should not be needed for this change. However, if it does not successfully display on mobile, connect with Engineering to determine if this is needed.
Image specifications: We require square (1:1 ratio) images with a transparent background (.PNG) for these. We recommend keeping the image files small (<200KB) to ensure minimal delays in loading on web and mobile ordering. We also need a list of the items to which each badge should be applied.
