Item badges can help guests identify dietary restrictions, limited-time items, or other special features about items on both the app and the web. These will display as a small icon under the item image on the item detail screen, as seen here:
Image specifications: We require square (1:1 ratio) images with a transparent background (.PNG) for these. We recommend keeping the image files small (<200KB) to ensure minimal delays in loading on web and mobile ordering.
Please note: Because we need to upload the images to our backend directly, the Incentivio team must help with the set up.
Please send support@incentivio.com an email with your images. It is important to name your files clearly, as we will later provide a URL to you. This URL will be used to add the icon to items and if the name is clear, it will make it easier to read.
Support will provide a URL for each Icon. Follow the below steps to add the icon to your items:
Adding Badges to Items
- Log into the Incentivio admin portal and navigate to Products > Item.
- Select the Columns filter, and check the box next to Extended Attributes to add a new column.
- Search for the item(s) that you'd like to add a badge to.
- Under Extended Attributes, add the following values to the item settings. It is possible to add multiple item badges; just update the number on ViewItemIcon1 as needed:
