SpotOn - Earning Points for In-Store Orders

As a temporary solution until our full in-store loyalty suite is available through SpotOn, we have created a solution that enables guests to earn points for in-store orders by attaching their phone number to the order.

Please note: To earn points for their purchase, customers must already have a loyalty account with Incentivio and the phone number must match the one attached to their loyalty account.

 

To attach a phone number to an order in SpotOn:

  1. After adding all items to the order, navigate to Ticket Commands > Customer Info.

  2. Enter the customer's phone number and attach it to the order.

Important Notes

  • If you are using a guest-facing display (GFD), selecting Customer Info will also prompt the guest to input their information on the GFD.
  • If the customer has never placed a mobile/web order through Incentivio, their phone number may not be searchable. Once they have placed a mobile/web order, their account will be listed on the customer search and can be more easily attached to the order. However, you should still be able to attach the phone number to their order, regardless of whether it is available on the customer list. 
  • Points will be awarded to the customer's account overnight, once our system receives the transactions from SpotOn through nightly imports.
