- Under "Pickup" or "Delivery", find the section called "Order Throttling".
- Select the day that you'd like to add a throttling setting for. The following fields will appear.
- In the "Time Slot" section, add the range of time that you'd like for this throttling setting to apply.
- In the "1. Throttle Setting" section, you must add a prep time. If you'd like to base this prep time on the total amount of a customer's purchase (for example, if they place an order over $100, the prep time will be 60 minutes), add the minimum amount that the customer must spend in the "Min. Amount" field
- Add a message to display to the customer during the throttle period.
The final set up, based on the above example, would look like this:
- To add additional throttle settings for prices, click on "Add Throttle Setting"
- You can add an additional time slot to throttle each day by clicking on the "Add Time Slot" button.
- You can add throttling settings for each day by selecting another "Day of the Week" below the current settings.
