The Location Information tab allows you to control key details about your locations that impact what customers see when placing orders. This includes the address, phone number, location name, and more. Below is a breakdown of each section in this tab and its functions.
General
The General section manages foundational location information, including:
- Internal Title – The internal name of the location for your team’s reference.
- Phone Number – The contact number visible to customers.
- Location’s POS Configurations – Configuration settings for the location’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- ⚠️ Important: POS configurations should only be edited by the Incentivio team. Editing these fields may cause errors that prevent customers from placing orders.
- Address – The physical address visible to customers.
- Latitude/Longitude – Determines where the location pin appears on the map view in your app or web ordering.
- Time Zone – Ensures order times, hours, and schedules align with the location’s correct time zone.
Display Information
The Display Information section controls how your location appears to customers on both the app and web ordering platforms.
Key fields include:
- Location Name – The name visible to customers.
- Short and Long Descriptions – Customizable descriptions for your location to help provide details or highlight specific information.
- Store Images – Images that represent your location in the app and web ordering.
Image Guidelines:
- All images should be below 100KB to ensure fast loading times.
- Images over 400KB cannot be uploaded, and attempting to do so will trigger an error message.
‼️ We can support Display Information in multiple languages, which allows display content to dynamically adjust based on the customer's device language.
Location Settings
The Location Settings section is managed by the Incentivio team and includes advanced settings such as:
- Enabling or disabling order acceptance for a location.
- Configuring whether the location is a Catering Location.
- Linking the location to an external ordering site, if applicable.
⚠️ These settings are managed by Incentivio to ensure accuracy and system reliability.
Location Email Notifications
This section allows you to configure email notifications for order activity. Notifications can include:
- Order Confirmation Emails – Confirmation of successfully placed orders, often used for catering locations.
- Order Failure Alerts – Notifications for failed orders to help you take immediate action.
Note: While these notifications are available, the Incentivio team continuously monitors the system for potential issues and proactively works to resolve them.
Location Properties
The Location Properties section includes advanced settings that are critical to the functionality of your location.
