Getting Started with Stream

Stream, a third-party delivery aggregator, is designed to streamline third-party delivery management for restaurants by connecting their Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, such as Toast, with popular delivery platforms like Uber Eats, GrubHub, and DoorDash. With Stream, all orders from these platforms are routed directly to your POS, reducing the need for multiple tablets and eliminating manual data entry. This powerful tool centralizes menu management, allowing you to update delivery menus, prices, and modifications in real-time from a single dashboard, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all delivery providers.

This is currently available with Toast clients. As Stream continues to expand their integration ecosystem, we will update this article with additional compatible POS partners.

Onboarding with Stream

If you're interested in using Stream, contact your Customer Success Manager or our Technical Support team at support@incentivio.com to begin the process!

The first step towards using Stream for 3PD management is for our team to invite you to the Stream portal. Our team will enable the Toast integration and connect this with Stream. Once this is completed, you will receive a welcome email, where the rest of the onboarding will take place.

  1. Our team will enable the Toast <> Stream integration and connect the desired locations.
  2. You will receive an email invitation to log into the Stream portal, where the rest of the onboarding will take place.

Once logged into the Stream portal, you will see your existing Toast menu(s) displayed. Stream will pull in all menus with Partners visibility in Toast, so make sure that the appropriate visibility is assigned before onboarding with Stream.

Connecting to Your DSPs

If you already have existing accounts with DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub, or Skip the Dishes, you can use your existing credentials to set up the Stream integration.

If you do not have accounts with them, you must sign up with the provider directly before completing these steps in the Stream portal. Your accounts must be active before the Stream integration can be completed.

DoorDash and Uber Eats should become active for guest ordering shortly after you complete the setup. However, GrubHub only syncs on Tuesdays, so it may take up to a week for this to be active.
