Feature Overview

For the Square Loyalty Integration, the loyalty offers, loyalty balances and account information will live in Square. Incentivio will reach out to square to retrieve and display this information when using it. Any restaurant using this integration will need to sign up for Square's loyalty program. Their program is priced based on the number of loyalty visits per month. Visits are defined as transactions where loyalty points are either earned or spent. With the Square Loyalty Integration, points will be earned immediately upon completion of the order whether it was in-store or online. How to Enable Square Loyalty

1. The customer will need to sign up for square loyalty (pricing below). The "Visits" referenced in the pricing chart below refer to any transaction where a customer either earns or spends loyalty points.
   
   
2. Remove the "loyalty" section from admin users permissions
3. Add default small and medium images to be used for the loyalty offers created within Square (details on adding images below) 
   
   
4. An Incentivio employee will need to put a story in for the Integrations domain team with the title "Enable Square Loyalty Integration - [Client Name]" with the following information in the description:
   • S3 URL to default Small and Medium Images to be used for Square Loyalty Offers
   • The Incentivio store ID for any locations that with NOT be using Square Loyalty for this client
   • (optional) If the client wants unique images for different loyalty offers, the S3 URL to the images for those along with which Loyalty Offers they should be associated with
     
     
     
     Images for Loyalty Offers (Incentivio Team)
     • Log into prod AWS
     • Navigate to s3 > buckets > Incentivio > {clientId} 
     • Create a new folder called "rewards" (if not already created)
     • Upload image to s3 (should be <400kb). Note that the size is not enforced when adding URLs to Client Attributes. Large images will lead to slow loading times on the front end.
     • Get image url (right click) 

How to Use the Square Loyalty Program

Creating Loyalty Offers

1. Log into your Square portal
   
   
2. On the left-side menu under "All Products" click "Customers" and then "Loyalty."
   
   
3. From this page, click "Settings" and scroll down until you see "Add a new reward"
   
   
4. Here you can select the points cost of the Reward, how much it will discount, and what it will be discounting. 
   
   
5. After you hit "Save" this will be an available Loyalty Offer for any Incentivio users that have enough points to redeem it. 
   
   

Adjusting Points Reward Ratio

1. In the same "Settings" page described in the above portion, towards the top of the page there is an "Earning Stars" section.
   
   
2. From here you can click "Edit" to adjust how many Stars (points) that customers will earn for every dollar they spend.

FAQ

1. How does account linking work? When the customer creates an account in Incentivio (on the app) this account should get linked to a new or existing Square Loyalty Account.
   
   
2. Balance Check: Customers should be able to view their Square points balance in the Loyalty screen in the restaurant’s app. 
   
   
3. How can customers view their loyalty history? Customers should be able to view their loyalty history (redemption, points accrual, etc.)
   
   
4. How can customers view their loyalty offers? Customers should be able to view all loyalty offers in the Loyalty screen just like our typical UI. Loyalty Offers will be greyed out in the Loyalty Screen if the customer cant redeem them yet.
   
   
5. How can customers redeem their loyalty offers? The customer should be able to view all eligible offers at the Checkout Screen, exactly like in our typical Loyalty Offer redemption flow.
