Overview of Incentivio Loyalty with Toast Online Ordering Pro

With the Incentivio Loyalty integration, your guests can accrue and redeem loyalty rewards on Toast Online Ordering Pro, just as they do with Toast POS. All loyalty accrual types and rewards supported by Incentivio at the POS level are fully functional within the online ordering experience.

Note: Guests cannot sign up for your loyalty program directly through the Toast Online Ordering page. We recommend adding a loyalty program sign-up link to your online ordering page for ease of access.

To use Incentivio loyalty rewards at checkout, guests must be logged into their Toast account.

 

Integration Requirements

To enable Incentivio Loyalty on Toast Online Ordering Pro, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • Toast Subscriptions: Your restaurant must have active subscriptions to Toast Online Ordering Pro or Toast Websites and Toast Online Ordering.
  • Incentivio Loyalty Integration: Your Incentivio loyalty program must already be integrated with Toast POS.
  • Beta Access: For beta access to the Incentivio Loyalty integration on Toast Online Ordering Pro, contact your Customer Success Manager.

 

How to Enable Incentivio Loyalty on Toast Online Ordering Pro

After confirming your restaurant meets the integration requirements:

  1. Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & Delivery > Loyalty Integration.
  2. Select the Sign up! button to submit your request via the provided form.
    • You’ll be notified within two business days once the integration is activated.

  3. If the Loyalty Integration section is missing, confirm the following:
    • You’re subscribed to Toast Online Ordering Pro or Toast Websites.
    • Incentivio Loyalty is already integrated with Toast POS.

Guest Experience

When using Toast Online Ordering, guests can easily check and use their loyalty points and rewards during checkout if logged into their Toast account.

  1. At checkout, guests select Lookup My Rewards to connect their loyalty account.
  2. Toast shares the email and phone number associated with the guest’s account with Incentivio to verify their rewards.
    • Based on their loyalty account status, guests will see one of the following:
      • No Points or Rewards Available: "You currently have no points or rewards available.”
      • Points but No Rewards: “You have X points but no rewards available at this time.”
      • Points and Rewards Available: “You have X points and Y rewards available for use.”
      • If no matching loyalty account is found, guests will see: “No matching loyalty account found. Please confirm that the email address or phone number match the information on your Toast account. If not, create a new rewards account or update the information on your existing one.”

 

Marketing Best Practices

Encourage guest participation in your loyalty program by incorporating the following strategies:

  1. Add a Sign-Up Link: Include a link to your loyalty program sign-up page in the header of your online ordering site.
  2. Spotlight Your Loyalty Program: Use banners, pop-ups, or homepage messaging to inform guests about accruing and redeeming loyalty rewards on online orders.
  3. Promotional Campaigns: Highlight your loyalty program in email and social media posts to increase guest engagement.
