The Store Setup tab in the Admin Portal allows operators to control numerous settings related to their store, including store display content, map location, and other features. This article will review these settings in greater detail.
Contents
- Store Display Content
- Store Location Settings
- Catering/Outpost Location
- Menu Browsing Only Locations
- View Only Locations
- Hide Store/Test Mode
To access Store Setup, navigate to Setup > Store Setup, and click Edit on the desired location.
Store Display Content
- To add new display content (if none exists already or to add display content in another language), select + Add Display Content.
To edit existing display content, select the Edit icon next to the existing content. - From this screen, the Display Title, Short Description, and Long Description, as well as the display images, can be adjusted. This is what customers will see in the store list and store details page.
- Once the necessary changes have been made, be sure to Save these changes.
Store Location Settings
The store location settings will control the address that is shown to customers. One important note is that the latitude and longitude set will control where the pin shows up on the map - not the address. We recommend using Google Maps to identify the exact coordinates.
- Navigate to maps.google.com and enter in the location address.
- In the URL, copy the coordinates, which will be found after the @ symbol. The latitude will be first (before the comma), and the longitude will be second (after the comma).
Tip: If you zoom in on the location on Google Maps, the coordinates will get more accurate.
Catering/Outpost Location
Locations marked as a Catering/Outpost location will show up under the Catering tab on web and mobile ordering.
However, this tab can be renamed and utilized for a number of different purposes, such as outpost locations (such as bars or breweries).
Menu Browsing Only Locations
Enabling Menu Browsing Only allows customers to view the menu without having to select a time slot and begin an order. To enable this feature for a location, select the check box next to "Menu Browsing Only Location," then save these changes.
View Only Locations
View-only locations allow brands to show locations on their online ordering page, providing visibility to customers but without allowing menu viewing or ordering. To enable this feature for a location, select the check box next to "View Only Location," then save these changes.
Please note: This change requires an app update to support view-only locations on mobile. If you would like to begin using this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager or our Technical Support team at support@incentivio.com.
Hide Store/Test Mode
Hide Store/Test Mode is primarily for internal use and will put a store into test mode, allowing our team to ensure all settings are configured appropriately before a store launches. We do not recommend using this for hidden locations that customers can order from, as it will not award loyalty points on transactions placed while the store is in Test Mode. This will prevent the store from being viewable on web and mobile ordering.
To access the Test Mode environment, navigate to http://order.incentivio.com/c/test/[client-name]/
