The Temporary Hours feature allows Restaurant Brands to set/schedule temporary store hours that does not affect their standard hours of operations. This feature gives Restaurant Brands the ability to select a single date or a date range to set up temporary hours for. The main use case we saw for this feature was to help Restaurants schedule temporary hours for the holiday season without having to change their standard hours of operation.
You can now set up Temporary Hours through the Dashboard. Here is our Guide: Dashboard - Updating Hours/Temporary Hours
This article will contain the following sections:

Feature Overview
The Temporary Hours feature allows Restaurant Brands to set/schedule temporary store hours that does not affect their standard hours of operations. Along with the release of this feature, we added the ability to “Close today” without having to disable pickup/delivery. Previously, Admin Users would have to disable pickup and/or delivery and then go back and enable it the following day. This “Closed Today” toggle will now allow Restaurant Brands to disable ordering for both pick up and delivery (separately), and automatically re-enable ordering once the present day has passed.
Additional Functionality Included with this Feature:
- For date ranges, you will be able to either select “Same Hours For Every Day” which allows you to enter hours once that will be used for each day in the selected date range
- You are able to add multiple time slots for temporary hours
- If you set up temporary hours on pickup, then they can easily copy the temporary hours to delivery & vice versa
- Set Temporary Hours will expire once the date + time has passed. This means the temporary hours for the date that has passed will be removed
- If you use the "Closed Today" switch, and you have orders for later that day, you will see a message letting you know that you have scheduled orders
