Dashboard - Menu Management: More Customizations Pop-up (Modifier Groups)

Step by Step

To move modifier groups into or out of the “More Customizations” section on the app:

1. Go to the Dashboard and navigate to Menu Management > Groups.

2. Click the Columns dropdown in the top left and check the box for Menu Properties. This will add a new column to your view.
   

3. Search for the Modifier Group Title that you would like to move. Select to edit:
   
   

4. In the Extended Attributes column:

   • Enter display_in_item_detail_screen in the Key field.

   • Set the Value to true if you want the modifier group to appear on the main item screen as a required field.

   • Set it to false if you want the group to appear under “More Customizations” as optional.
     

Using Bulk Actions:

If you would like to edit ALL your modifier groups at once

• Narrow your list: filter by Group Type and select Modifier Group. 
  

• If your selection spans multiple pages, you can increase the number of results at the bottom right of the page:
  
• Select all using the Checkbox at the top, then select Bulk Edit > Menu Properties
  
  

  • Enter display_in_item_detail_screen in the Key field.

  • Set the Value to true if you want the modifier group to appear on the main item screen as a required field.

  • Set it to false if you want the group to appear under “More Customizations” as optional.

  • Click Add
    

• Don’t forget to click Save when you're done.

Once the field is adjusted, make sure to publish your menus!
